About the event
Taught by Melissa Metzgar, M.A., M.A., this ceramics class explores the ancient clay techniques of the Etruscans, Greeks, and broader mediterranean, alongside the parallell artistic discoveries happening in Asia, South America, and Africa. Each week will focus on a new project while also reflecting on prior ones, giving students the opportunity to build a portfolio, learn from other potters on their journey, and find inspiration for future projects--all while expanding their art historical and ceramics knowledge!
