Writer’s Block Tweens/Teens is a 6-week creative writing session designed to spark ideas and help young writers build confidence and consistency in their craft. Open to students in Grades 7–12, this supportive space invites participants to write alongside other writers in an encouraging environment.

About the event
This writing workshop welcomes writers of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned authors, and follows the Amherst Writers & Artists method. Participants will respond to timed writing prompts designed to spark creativity, encourage exploration, and support consistent practice. The workshop emphasizes a respectful, supportive environment where writers can create freely and share work at their comfort level.
